Thai Sausage Salad
A little twist between Western and Thai flavors. Thai sausage salad or "Yum Sai Krok" is a fusion Thai dish that blends herbs and spicy dressing with western sausages. The dish is often served for a casual home dinner party.
You can use either pork, chicken or beef sausages. Cook your choice of sausage by either boiling or grill and then cut into bite sizes then combine with Thai herbs and dressing. It takes a short time to complete the dish!
This salad should be served immediately after combining the ingredients with chili and lime dressing in order to maximize the freshness of lime.
This salad can be enjoyed with other Thai salad dishes such as Glass Noodle Salad and Thai BBQ Chicken

Preparation: 15 minutes
Cook Time: 10 minutes
Spicy Level: mild
Pork sausages cooked and cut into bite sizes 300 g
Red onion or shallot thinly sliced ¼ cup
Tomato medium size crosswise thinly sliced ½ cup
Coriander chopped 2 stalks
Celery small chopped ¼ cup
Ingredients for Dressing:
Red Thai chili finely smashed 1 tsp (optional)
Palm sugar 2 tbsp
Lime juice 4 tbsp
Fish sauce 1 tsp
Let's get started!
How to make:
- Mix all dressing ingredients in a dressing bowl.
- In a mixing bowl, add sausages, red onion, tomato, coriander and celery.
- Then add dressing. Toss well.
- Enjoy fresh!
